It is common knowledge now that John Summit and Dom Dolla are more than DJs; they are superstars. These past weekends, their two B2B sets at Coachella’s Outdoor Theatre proved that. The sets were highlighted by a ton of new music from both artists, and the music was accompanied by stellar production. The shows were undoubtedly the highlight of the weekend for all in attendance.

2. The Return of Michael Bibi

Michael Bibi made his U.S. return at the festival’s brand-new Quasar Stage. The house music legend who recently beat an aggressive cancer had his mother beside him the whole time. The three-hour set featured a range of emotional tracks paired perfectly with his staple groovy house sound. It feels so good to see Michael Bibi back in action; everyone is excited about his return.

3. Cloonee Can't Be Stopped

The British tech house star has risen in the ranks recently, with his recent releases “Sippin Yak” and “To The Beat” gaining serious traction among the masses. He played two massive sets in the Sahara Tent, sporting his classic minimal sound and coveted unreleased IDs. He even surprised fans with a special B2B set with Chris Lorenzo in the Do Lab during weekend two and a surprise B2B with John Summit at an afterparty.

4. Mau P B2B Diplo at Quasar

Mau P has risen in the dance music ranks over the last year, and his 4-hour B2B set with the legend Diplo was very exciting for fans. They performed at the brand new Quasar stage during sunset on weekend 2. The set featured many classic dance records and deeper unreleased tracks from both artists.

5. Anti Up Shuts Down the Mojave Tent

Chris Lake and Chris Lorenzo are British house music legends. Since starting their record label, ‘Anti Up, ’ the two have created incredible live sets. They debuted their new album during this set, and the Mojave Tent’s atmosphere paired perfectly with the techy tunes.

6. Gorgon City in the Yuma

Gorgon City performed in the famed Yuma tent on back-to-back weekends. Fans could experience the incredible Yuma production and dance to the pair’s deep, groovy basslines and infectious rhythms. They announced via a Coachella billboard that their next album, ‘Reverie,’ will be released this July.

7. Westend in the Do Lab

The NY native DJ/Producer performed his first Coachella set in the Do Lab during weekend 2. He recently won House Song of the Year at the EDM Awards, and his momentum continues to grow. The do lab was packed for his set, and he shared an emotional thank you with his fans via Instagram just days later.

8. Barry Can’t Swim U.S Debut

Barry Can’t Swim’s performances were considered by most attendees the breakout performance of the festival. The British musician is known for his eclectic blend of indie rock, electronic, and alternative pop, which had people flooding the Gobi stage to watch him perform.

9. Grimes’ ‘Technical Difficulties’

During her Weekend 1 performance, Canadian singer Grimes encountered numerous technical issues, leading to a disappointing show. However, she rebounded and delivered an improved performance during Weekend 2. Grimes also addressed the negative comments and criticism she received from online detractors regarding her DJ skills and performance during her Weekend 2 introduction track.

10. Anderson Paak Do Lab Surprise as ‘DJ Pee Wee”

The acclaimed R&B singer debuted as DJ Pee Wee as a surprise guest at the Do Lab during weekend one. Fans were very excited to see Anderson step a little bit into a new genre and his performance did not disappoint.
